Project: The Shrine of Design - Website Design Proposal

I needed to overhaul my website and significantly improve both the visual appeal and overall user experience. This project includes updating the layout, refining the navigation, and ensuring mobile responsiveness. “The Design Shrine” is a presentation that I put together to bid work from designers. I’ll be aiming for a modern, gritty, and engaging design that aligns with my name, brand, and speaks to cultural influence.

Problem

The current website is outdated. It was quickly designed in 2020 to meet the need for an online presence. The site lacks personality or creativity until you click into the portfolio. The website is not eye-catching. It does not say anything about my design thinking or leadership abilities. The platform is very limiting and does not address my sense of style or design. Additionally, the site lacks any movement or animation.

Project Goal

A website that can continue to grow and push the limits as wild as the client’s imagination, and diversify the types of projects that the client retains work on. It should showcase his brand first, then show their design capabilities and interests. The site should be a statement piece.
