Cultural Alchemist
Some people choose one lane. I chose to study several, using each discipline as a foundation to build upon.
It started with architecture. Two years of mechanical drawing and one year of architectural drafting in high school built a foundation in measurement, scale, and spatial thinking that never left. Understanding how objects exist in space, how people move through environments, and how precision engineering serves creative vision: that way of thinking became permanent.
Fashion design came next. A menswear degree built the concepting discipline. Seasonal themes, mood boards, material research, and presenting a world before a single garment was made: that’s where the cultural research methodology was born. Understanding fabric, construction, and how clothing functions as personal and cultural expression added another dimension that graphic design alone never could have provided.
Advertising sharpened the strategic instinct. How brands communicate, how creative serves a purpose beyond aesthetics, and how you move people toward a decision or a feeling. Then graphic design completed the technical foundation, giving every existing idea a precise and professional visual language.
What emerged from those four disciplines isn’t a skill set. It’s a way of being.
Not many people can combine elements of architecture, fashion, advertising, and graphic design in one breath: designing a flat object while simultaneously understanding its depth, scale, and spatial context, speaking fluently about fabric and industrial materials in the same conversation, or moving between a five-inch embroidered patch and a stadium-sized experiential environment without changing the way they think.
My creative journey has naturally evolved this way, allowing me to step into new opportunities with a deep wealth of knowledge where designing across entirely different formats has simply become second nature.
Culture has always been the thread connecting everything. Fashion, sports, brand, technology, and experiential are not separate industries to navigate. They are one symbiotic ecosystem held together by human experience. Knowing how to make them flow together as one is the work. It always has been.
Most recently, artificial intelligence has simply become the next tool for me to explore. Not to replace creative thinking, but to expand it and find new ways to connect people to culture that didn't previously exist.
Cultural Alchemist. Mixing knowledge, culture, and strategy to reflect the best of everything it touches.
